ABOUT THE ARTIST - JENNA DRURY
Thank you for taking a moment to learn a little more about me. Let me start by saying that I find my inspiration through my most important roles in life as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. I thank the Lord daily for this God given talent and the opportunity to use it.
I have spent my life surrounded by artists in one form or another. My earliest inspiration was my mother. When I was a child she wrote the most amazing poetry. What made it amazing to me is how REAL it was. After working all day with severely handicapped children she would come home at night and write beautiful poetry about their strength and courage. My mother’s poetry told stories that will stay with me for a lifetime.
My love of capturing everything I could in pictures began when I was 9 and my parents got me a used SLR camera. From that day forward a camera has never been far from my hand.
It was with the birth of my daughter in 2000 that my love of photographing children began. I developed a need to capture every moment of her life. I found pure exhilaration in each new face she would make. I had to document how her little fingers and toes changed on a daily basis. She is 8 years old now and I treasure those photographs more with each passing day.
Soon my love of photographing her became a passion to photograph every child I saw. It became my desire to capture for others those fleeting yet priceless moments in the life of a child. I realized that through photography I could document their legacy.
Finally in 2007 I dared to dream and that is how Timeless Expressions Photography by Jenna came to be.
Not only is a picture worth a thousand words but more importantly it is the key to priceless memories from times passed. Thank you for the opportunity to capture the moments you will treasure for a lifetime.
